To be able to stand as President in the 2024 Election, a candidate must:
be 21 years or over
be registered on the Electoral Roll
have been ordinarily resident in Alderney throughout the 36 months immediately preceding the date appointed for the election
be nominated by a proposer and seconder whose names must be on the Electoral Roll

Eligible candidates will be able to deliver their nominations, signed in writing by two persons whose names are inscribed on the Electoral Roll, to the Chief Clerk acting as Returning Officer at the Island Hall, between Friday 8th November 2024 at 9:00am and Monday 18th November 2024 at 4:00pm.
